This shiny event Lunala was distributed via serial code to Pokémon Sun and Ultra Sun players who scan a QR code via Pokémon Pass at GameStop outlets in United States and participating retailers across Europe to commemorate the release of the TCG Expansion: Cosmic Eclipse. The codes could be used to redeem the Pokémon from October 1 to November 15, 2019 in Europe and October 21 to November 10, 2019 in North America.

What makes this event Lunala special?
This is the very first time shiny Lunala is made available to the Pokémon game core series and is the only way to obtain a shiny Lunala so far.
