This event Darkrai was distributed to Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players via a serial code from a special movie package purchasable from the Pokémon online store from April 27 to May 27, 2018 to commemorate the re-screening of the 10th Pokémon Movie: The Rise of Darkrai in South Korea. The serial codes could be used to redeem this event Darkrai from June 6 to August 31, 2018.
